Lucy welcomes Haddenham Interest Society to Parliament

Lucy welcomed the Haddenham Interest Society for a tour of Parliament this morning, and to discuss issues including from prisons, social care, and the environment.

Lucy holds open meetings in Little Thetford, Witchford and Stretham

During the summer, Lucy held a series of open meetings with constituents including in the villages of Little Thetford, Witchford and Stretham. A range of important local issues such as cycle lanes, speed limits and environmentally friendly policies were discussed.

Lucy recently visited the Chitra Sethia Autism Centre, home to the Cambridgeshire branch of the National Autistic Society, to discuss the challenges autistic people face when securing employment.

Lucy welcomes Great Wilbraham Primary School pupils to Parliament

Lucy recently welcomed pupils from Great Wilbraham Primary School, during their visit to Parliament. Making sure our children are aware of our democratic processes is vital, and visits to Parliament are a wonderful way to spark interest at an early age.

Lucy visits local schools and Cambridgeshire County Council

Lucy recently met with Witchford Village College’s new head teacher Daniel Baxby to discuss the accomplishments to standards. She also met with some of Rackham C Of E Primary School’s students during their sports day.

Lucy visits the Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey

Lucy recently visited The Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey to see the historic site and hear about their unique history. Dating back to the 12th century, the Abbey has been occupied by three different monastic orders.
