COVID's Community volunteers

Visit to Ely Foodbank

Last week I visited the Ely Foodbank to meet with volunteers and to help parcel up some food. It was great to see how they are using technology to improve their service and to meet many of the young volunteers.

2020 Parliamentary Debating Competition

The Parliamentary Debating Competition is an annual highlight for me, and despite COVID, this year's competition still went ahead virtually. This year's topic was 'why politics matters,' and it was interesting to hear the thought-provoking and persuasive entries.
