South East Cambridgeshire Schools Funding

It is great to see that several schools in South East Cambridgeshire have been allocated a share of the Government’s £434 million investment to expand classrooms and upgrade facilities across the whole country.

Plans to bring back a train station to Soham after nearly 50 years have been approved by East Cambridgeshire District Council.

A10 Dualling and Junction Improvements Virtual Consultation

I have been campaigning to dual the A10 for a number of years. It is a critical part of Cambridgeshire’s infrastructure, with more than 18,000 vehicles using this busy section of road that stretches from the Milton Interchange in Cambridge to the A142 in Ely every day.

Waterbeach Incinerator Update

I am very pleased that today, the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government upheld the decision of Cambridgeshire County Council to refuse planning for permission for the Waterbach Waste Recovery Facility, often referred to as the Waterbeach Incinerator.

Small Business Discretionary Grant Scheme is open

The discretionary grants scheme is now available for small businesses in South Cambridgeshire to apply for. Over £1.25m in grant funding is now available to help those who have not been eligible for Coronavirus support so far.
