Anthony Browne MP and I recently met with the Practice Manager at Willingham Medical Practice to discuss access to GP appointments after a few constituents emailed us to share their challenging experiences in the village and in nearby Longstanton following delays to a new facility in Northstowe.
Our meeting followed a joint letter we wrote to the local health authority (the ICB) about the matter.
It was positive to hear from Dr Kuruvilla that the building still has capacity for c.1,000 more patients on its books, provided additional staffing could be funded.
