The Ely Museum is a precious part of our East Cambs community, one that I’ve been lucky enough to visit many times.
The important role the museum plays in enriching our community makes the recent thefts all the more upsetting.
I know Cambridgeshire Constabulary are investigating this break-in. I sincerely hope officers will be able to recover these irreplaceable artefacts and bring those responsible to justice.
If anyone does have any information about this crime, I urge them to come forward.
