Some of my constituents in Bottisham have been left feeling disconnected from nearby villages following Stephenson’s decision to take the village off the Number 11 bus route.
In response, I have been working with local residents and members of the “A to B1102 group” to establish the most appropriate response to this change that will both maximise convenience for passengers and maintain good levels of connectivity in the wider area.
In pursuit of this aim, the A to B1102 group has published a survey which has gone out digitally and on print to the villages most affected by these discussions. They are: Fordham, Burwell, Swaffham Prior, Reach, Swaffham Bulbeck, Lode & Longmeadow, Bottisham, Stow cum Quy and The Wilbrahams.
I am pleased that it has already generated a few hundred responses, with data collection due to end in December, and I look forward to co-ordinating with local residents on the right solution based on the findings.
