Statistics show that although women begin their careers in an equal position to men, the gap widens after women reach a certain stage in their careers.
Lucy planned this event with Newnham College, Cambridge to raise awareness of this issue. Lucy brought together women from different sectors, with different specialisations, in order to inform and empower women of the opportunities available to them, especially in public service.
The day was a great success, with over 100 attendees.
