Over recent weeks Lucy has been working with the Cabinet Office and Newnham College to see how the Government can improve opportunities for women, in particular increasing the number of women taking public appointments.
Later this year Lucy will be hosting a seminar on the importance of representation for women in public life and encouraging more women to apply for public posts. It wil also focus on the importance of helping women into suitable posiitons after career break or fitting their work commitments around childcare.
